These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all rentals and services provided by J&J Watersports(“Company,” “we,” “us”). By reserving, paying for, or using any equipment, the customer (“Renter,” “you”) agrees to be bound by this Agreement.

Eligibility Requirements

To rent or operate equipment, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or local legal age).

• Present a valid government-issued ID.

• Meet all state/local boating or PWC (personal watercraft) requirements.

• Not be under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or impairing substances.

Reservations & Payment

• Full or partial payment may be required to reserve equipment.

• All prices are subject to taxes and fees.

• We reserve the right to cancel or deny any reservation at our discretion.

Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit may be required prior to rental.

• Deductions may be taken for damage, late fees, cleaning, or rule violations.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations more than 48 hours before the reservation: Full refund.

• Cancellations within 48 hours: No refund.

• Weather-related cancellations (unsafe conditions only) may receive a reschedule or credit at Company’s discretion.

Equipment Use & Safety

The Renter agrees to:

• Operate all equipment safely and responsibly.

• Follow all federal, state, and local boating laws.

• Wear a Coast Guard–approved life jacket at all times.

• Avoid reckless behavior, including speeding, wake jumping, or unsafe maneuvers.

• Not allow unauthorized persons to operate equipment.

Damage, Loss, and Liability

• The Renter is 100% financially responsible for any damage, loss, theft, or misuse of the equipment during the rental period.

• The Renter agrees to pay for repairs, replacement, towing, retrieval, or recovery costs.

• J&J Watersports is not liable for injuries, accidents, or property damage incurred during use.

Assumption of Risk

By renting from J&J Watersports, the Renter acknowledges:

• Watersports and boating activities involve inherent risks.

• Injuries, drowning, collisions, or equipment damage may occur.

• The Renter participates voluntarily and assumes all risks.

Weather Policy

• Rentals may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled due to lightning, high winds, or unsafe conditions.

• Weather is determined solely by the Company.

Late Return Fees

• Equipment returned late will incur additional hourly charges.

• Significant delays may result in full-day charges or retrieval fees.

Prohibited Activities

The Renter agrees not to:

• Operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Enter restricted areas.

• Tow other vessels unless authorized.

• Beach or run equipment aground.

Personal Property

• The Company is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items brought onto the equipment or into the water.

Indemnification

The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless J&J Watersports, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from use of the equipment.

Photos & Media

The Renter grants permission for the Company to use photos or videos taken during rentals for marketing unless the Renter requests otherwise in writing.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state in which the rental occurs.

Acknowledgment

By signing or submitting payment, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
